An early morning ride with Dave. we met in Penrhyncoch and rode up via Banc y Darren. We were about to do the Mark of Zorro when Dave decided we should try the down hill trail a little further up the hill. We gave it a go, but lots of it was unrideable, the bits that were rideable were good though.

Then it was up the Leg Burner and out onto the Conti Trail, past Llyn Blaenmelindwr and Llyn Syfyddrin and out to the ford. At the ford we went right up a technical climb to the top of the hill, then down through the forestry and out onto the Nant y Moch road which we followed back onto the Conti Trail. Up over the top of the morrland and down the Bont Goch descent then back along the road to Penrhyncoch.

A nice circular ride and back at home for bacon sandwiches by 9:30am.
